Welcome to Technomadia: The home of Chris Dunphy, Cherie Ve Ard & Kiki— Technomadic adventurers.
We’re two gen-X geeks who are digital nomads synthesizing technology in with our full-time RV traveling life. Chris gave up his apartment in San Francisco in April 2006 to begin his nomadic adventure. Shortly thereafter, we found each other and merged our paths setting off on this life we call ‘Technomadia’ on May 10, 2007. Cherie eventually sold her home in Florida and we had an Oliver Travel Trailer custom built with solar panels for us to become our only home.
Our journey is not one of sabbatical or retirement - and nor have we set an end date to our travels. We aim to create a sustainable lifestyle of balance between work, life, low environmental footprint, community, family, amazing experiences and wanderlust - one that lasts until it no longer feels right.
We both work in high tech fields, even running our own technology, marketing and strategy consulting firm—Two Steps Beyond. We consider work projects that are fun, inspiring and take advantage of our location independent vagabond lifestyle.
And our newest addition is Kiki, our kitten we’re raising to enjoy adventure.
