While me and my people were stopped at Morro Rock the other day, they decided to point a camera at me. I wanted to be anonymous in my cuteness, so I put a box over my head. What is it with people and their cameras always pointed at us kittens? Shiesh.

Three Years Nomadic
Exactly three years ago, on April 1st 2006, my nomadic wanderings began.
I set off without a clear plan, other than that I wanted to explore making nomadism a fulfilling life, and not a “trip” with some particular destination or end-point in mind. {More…}
Talking with Locals: Santa Cruz
While in Santa Cruz on March 28, we had the opportunity to film two locals (GeekSpeak.org co-hosts) talking about some of the things they love about the area. First, we talked with Miles Elam about the Henry Cowell Redwood State Park: And then Ben Jaffe about the University of Santa Cruz campus: —————- Tales from […]
Late Night GeoWanking in Lompoc, CA
One of the thing that we’ve been most wanting to incorporate into our blog posting has been maps.
After a lot of late night experimentation with a lot of Word Press plugins of (ahem) varying quality, I think I am at last happy with the results I am getting from the Wordpress Geo Mashup plugin. See what the maps look like…
Video Edition: Morro Rock
On our journey down the Pacific Coast Highway (Route 1) of California, we stopped for a day at the base of Morro Rock. It is part of a series of nine volcanic plugs on the way to San Luis Obisbo county, and very distinctive looking as you drive into Morro Bay.

Today we were able to join the Geeks at GeekSpeak at KUSP 88.9 in Santa Cruz during our adventure southward. Chris used to be a regular co-host to GeekSpeak when he lived in the Bay Area, and now we stop in when we’re in the area. We helped field calls and news stories, and on […]
Taking your Job & Career on the Road to Travel Full Time – Excuse #1
In America, traveling full time is something that seems to be by default left for retirement after a career – when life savings, pension and social security can pay for the base expenses. Full Time RVing is a lifestyle that generations ahead of ours have been exploring for sometime, and have thankfully paved many of […]
Tales from Technomadia, Video Edition
When we first started off nomading around together almost two years ago, we really didn’t want our journey to be about anything other than our own discovery. Our website used to be primarily for friends and family to keep up with us. But over time, more and more folks have been peaking in on us, […]
Media Entertainment on the Road
As technomads, many are surprised to hear that we opted not to have a satellite TV receiver installed on our Oliver Travel Trailer, and ask if we miss having that sort of media content in our lives. It was a standard option for our unit, but with wanting solar panels it was an easy decision […]
