Happy Thanksgiving (And a Quick Update)

Life on the Road Travel Plans Van Life (May 2019 - present) Vintage Bus (June 2011 - present)

Nov 28, 2019 by Cherie Ve Ard 16 Comments

Our biggest reason for posting today is wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving!

We are so blessed to be able to live an abundant life on the road, and we’re so grateful that you choose to spend a little bit of your time joining in virtually and being part of our community.

Quick Catch Up

I also realized this morning that we’re so behind on posting and catching you up. It’s been a super busy couple of months since we arrived to central Texas in mid-October.

We hit the ground running getting our beloved bus, Zephyr, out of storage and caught up on neglected maintenance.

We then received news of a family member who was placed on hospice, so we decided to take out a monthly spot in the heart of Texas Wine Country – where we were already planning to attend the RV Entrepreneur Meet-up and The RVers Watch Party weekend.

We figured it would give us a base camp to travel from when the time came.

That time hasn’t come yet, and our month is almost up.

Our van has been super useful – we used it to cart around some really cool friends recently who dropped in for a visit (yes – Nikki & Jason Wynn and mom, and Peter & John)

Turns out, we really needed a month still anyway to let life catch up to us. We’ve been on the go for months traveling to or from one big episode to the next.

The past month has flown by – visits with family, friends and just settling back into bus living in general (translation: lots of Amazon package deliveries). The emotional rollercoaster of a big TV show premiere.

And work, oh goodness the mobile internet news seems to never end.

And really fine wine.

We’ll soon be hitting the road west – convoying the bus and van to our intended winter homebase (and long term Zephyr-storage) at our lot in Benson, Arizona.

I’m not sure when we’ll have the time for a proper check-in – late year seems to roll around, we lose our steam and open time to blog.

This year, it’s all for good reason – we just have too much (mostly) awesome going on.

But we do want to document what it took to get Zephyr out of storage, maybe even our van trip to get here and thoughts on being a 2-RV household (plus boat).

We are however sharing more in ‘real time’ on Instagram and Facebook, if you wanted to keep up with were we are and what we’re up to.

For now..

We are happy, we are blessed, life is full. We couldn’t ask for more than that.

So.. today, and every day our friends – cheers to living YOUR life to the fullest!

”The time hasn’t come yet, and our month is almost up.” Ey cracked up.

Anyway, you folks live an abundant life because of your hard work and dedication to an honest endeavor.
Ey have enjoyed reading about your adventures over the years. Thank you.
Five years on the road, still going strong and doing well at 78 years.
    Best to you folks
