Travelogues

Today we focus on the many things we have to be thankful for this year.

As we embark on our 10th holiday season on the road, we reflect upon the many places our wheels have found us in the past. From the deserts of the southwest, the islands of the Caribbean, the middle of Kansas workamping at Amazon and of course, many years with family in Florida, Texas or St. Louis.

img_6264
From our home to yours.. wishing you a lovely Thanksgiving.

And Florida is where this year finds us nestled in amongst our loved ones. Sharing special times and making new memories.

Wherever we are, we are grateful for the life we lead – the freedom to roam and choose where we want to be. To be able to earn our livelihood while embracing our wanderlust.

We don’t take a moment of it for granted.

And we’re thankful to have you virtually along for the journey – sharing in the ups and downs. Our constant community, with whom many of you we’re extra thankful to also be able to consider friends.

Wherever this message finds you today, we wish you peace, love of one another and kindness to our fellow adventurers on this huge planetary nomadic vessel we call Earth.

    Hi Chris and Cherie!

We’ve been following your adventures for a while now. A couple days ago you guys pulled into the RV Park where we have been staying this week (Sunset Isle, Cedar Key) but then you pulled back out and left… I was so hoping to have the chance to meet you. Just wanted to say that I hope another opportunity presents itself sometime down the road. Best wishes on your search for your perfect floating nomadic vessel!
    Safe travels!!!

Sorry you missed us… was just a quick trip on our way to Spring Hill for this weekend, but we couldn’t resist not stopping in for a little bit. Hope you enjoyed one of our favorite places!

We are truly blessed to have had so much quality time with you guys this year… so wish it had been in less chaotic circumstances (us in middle of writing a book earlier this year) and you guys in the midst of back-to-back crazy events. But that’s what makes it real, we can enjoy each other’s company even when life is going on.

My cat has eaten as much turkey as I have today. I don’t know where he puts it all.
    Happy Thanksgiving to you all!

Hahaha… lucky cat! Kiki usually loves turkey, but apparently not warm off the bone. Perhaps she’ll devour some leftovers today.

All that you’ve said here is good and sharing for this season! My wife and I pray for the both of you and yours, always! But, if you don’t share “some” photos of you and the family, I will feel a little left out! And yes, I/we know this is yours and family time. However, you may not be aware of all the hope and joy you and Chris are bring to others, like us! Thank you, thank Chris and thank GOD!

I’m sure we snapped a few photos of the family, and one might make it into the travelogue for this stop. 🙂

“planetary nomadic vessel we call Earth”. Absolutely brilliant. If you people were not already writers I’d suggest you take it up some time. 🙂 Happy Thanksgiving!
