Ramblings: Tales from Nomads – Every Mile’s A Memory

Ramblings

Jun 8, 2012 by Cherie Ve Ard 8 Comments

Meet Pat & Cindy

Pat and Cindy started planning their nomadic journey 10 years before they actually hit the road – timing it with their daughter’s 18th birthday.  They sold their successful restaurant and two homes they owned to fund their travels and set out with intentions of being on the road for two years in their 25′ travel trailer.

They hit a snag however when they decided they loved life on the road, and now needed to figure out how to continue funding it.  Selling their photography didn’t turn out to be fruitful enough, so they manifested an amazing opportunity to start banking some more cash – turning around a motel, RV Park and Tiki Bar in their favorite destination.

They love Cedar Key, FL so much, that they are continuing to run the amazing Low-Key Hideaway – a travelers port of call. And one day… they’ll hit the road again.

The entire video series will continue to grow at:  https://www.technomadia.com/ramblings

We’ll be soon introducing you to more nomads, aiming to release 2-3 videos a month until we run out of content. Make sure you’re subscribed to our RSS feed to be automatically notified when we post.

They’re so right, it’s easy to spend lots of money when you stay in campgrounds and eat out EVERY night. When we first set out, it was hard to distinguish vacation from regular life, too. I guess it takes time to figure that out (settle in!).

But look where they ended up, if that’s the WORST that can happen when the cash runs out… Awesome!

Thanks for sharing Pat & Cindy’s story.
    Cheers – Jeanette
