Yeah...when word got out, I got emails form Austin friends and I joined the Facebook group to save the COJ. I linked the book there and it has been visited a lot. The book is a "non-profit" deal, the price in Blurb.com is just the printing price. No markup/profit.
I which there was a way to donate the book to some entity that could print it cheaper, mark it up, and make some money for the COJ.

Awesome photos, Adolfo!

I am thrilled that Lonely Planet and TripFilms featured this post/video to help get the word out to the 'Save the Junk!' Perhaps you could do some promoting of your book to help get the word out and even possibly help them raise some funds for the costs?

Ah! One of my favorite places in Austin. Too bad is under attack by people that do not tolerate uniqueness.
I photographically documented the place for years. Here are some photos:

And a book on the place and Vince:

Thanks for giving me another cool place to add to our upcoming itinerary! I hope it is still there! The Neon Graveyard also sounds like one to add :) Always enjoy checking out places like that!

Wow! What a brilliant place! I would love to check it out someday. If you liked the Cathedral of Junk, you might also like the Neon Graveyard in Las Vegas, where old casino signs go to die. I haven't been there myself yet, but I've heard it's amazing.
