One year ago today, we drove to Hohenwald, Tennessee and picked up our custom built dream technomadic home – a 17′ Oliver Legacy Elite by Oliver Travel Trailers. We named it Orion.

Since then, we’ve taken our home all around the country. Orion has been coast to coast and has visited 26 states in its inaugural year.

After a year of living full time in our tiny solar powered home on wheels, there’s not much we would have changed. Which is a great testament to the success of our first 7 month trial run on the road in Chris’ 16′ T@b Clamshell. That gave us the experience to really define what would make an ideal home for our style of travel together.

Orion is showing no signs of wear and tear either after some pretty intense travel. We look forward to many more years and miles ahead together!
