One of our reasons for returning to St. Louis in mid-June was to attend a Flag Day concert that Chris’ father had been organizing in conjunction with the Elk’s Flag Day Ceremony. He’s been working months on bringing in the Bob Kuban band to perform and having transportation for disabled veterans from the local VA hospital to attend.

We couldn’t imagine missing it.

The event also corresponsed with two other developments. The first being that our friend Matt Bell was coming off of his 4.5 month world trip, ending it with joining up with us for a few day long midwest road trip. On Matt’s first 24 hours back in the good ole USA, he got to jump right in by celebrating flag day.

And secondaly, while we’ve been here in St. Louis we’ve helped Chris’ parents migrate from Windows to Mac.

With that.. Chris’ dad, Joel, has produced his first YouTube video on his new Mac today with pictures from the concert (including many of us in it).

Enjoy helping us welcome Chris’ folks to YouTube video production!
